Obama's missteps are shown on TV over & over...McCains's once or twice!

If Obama had visited the Motorcycle gang's get-together yesterday, and rambled on with that almost incoherent rant...not to mention offering up his wife as a naked beauty contestant....as McCain did, it would have been shown on TV dozens of times by now. I've seen it only twice. Hmmmm...could that possibly be because it was the great hero McCain who goofed?

On Race to the White House, Rachel Maddow had to push in to get across the point that the public needs to know that JSM III is not the old maverick they thought he was. The fellas bloviated that oh no no no, he's the known quantity. But I'm glad she insisted many people might not know John Sidney McCain III has 9 homes, $520 shoes and dumped his invalided wife to marry a younger blonde heiress with whom he carried on an affair. (I'd add that many wouldn't know he has an independent net worth of over $40 million. His heiress wife's net is over $100 million.)

The guys just kept bloviating about how John was the known quantity. Talking over Rachel with six ways of saying everyone knows John McCain.

But we know a lot of people are shocked when they see him for real. Witness the droves staying away from his events. Maybe an ad series with a heavy chorus of EVERYONE KNOWS JOHN McCAIN-- HAS CHANGED !!
He's not the guy you thought you knew.

Or you just need unadulterated video of his speeches, like at Sturgis when he was supposed to say-- "I know you're upset by oil at 4 bucks a gallon!" and got it all scrambled. That was intense. Came out like I know you're upset. I'm tired. 4 box. a gallon. 4 dollars a gallon. I'll bet you're tired of oil at 4 dollars a gallon. So I think he may have a sound-box feeding him lines that he can't always hear, rather than a script. With a written script he may fear having to use reading glasses.

It takes them several attempts before they memorize stuff. Like we have to fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here.
