Just saw the "Hands" Obama ad on the teevee!
Sitting here with the Olympics on in the background and the ad came on aroung 5:35 - 5;40.

I'm in a pretty reliably "blue" media market and don't watch much cable news so it was my first political ad of the season.

Cool.

1. Here in Colorado, we're still seeing the Paris ad nonstop.
Anyone else seeing that? It's on during every news break, 24/7. Just last night, saw it again.

3. It's extremely smooth and professional
And you don't know it's a political ad for the first 50%, so it draws people in who would normally "tune out" politics.

Perfect ad for the venue too- hopeful, optimistic, future focused. Really works nicely with the Olympic theme.

7. I have yet to see an Obama ad during the Olympics, but seen a number of McCain ads.

Note, I do not have cable/satellite and only watch the NBC coverage. I'm from Western Pa. But it seems McCain ads are on every 2-3 commercial break om NBC and most of the major network channels. I know McCain is spending a lot of money here, but it seems Obama is definitively not getting his money worth in commercials.

12. Here in MA, I've seen the McCain "Family" ad at least every other
commercial break, including a string of every break for over an hour.

14. My son and his friend are watching the olympics and just repeated
McCain's ads verbatum to me during the "dinner break", complete with their separate analyses of why McCain is an idiot and his ads are "really lame".

(They ar 11, btw.)

9. I saw it on youtube, not on local tv since CT is not a state in play in this election.
I liked the commercial a LOT. Ithink it is great and will go over "big" inthe heartland. I hope so!

11. I believe they are running it
during the Olympics, which means NBC/MSNBC national coverage. Isn't that right? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
