If they bring up Edwards, who is not the nominee, remind them the GOP nominee married . . . |
|
. . .his drug stealing, pill popping mistress.

5. This happened on CNN with John Roberts this AM and what happened |
|
was a rep[ly by John Roberts that said, "McCain has admitted to problems in his first marriage, and we will leave it at that". It was one of those "balanced" segments from both sides and the discussion was, of course, the non- candidate John Edwards issue. The dem side mentioned the McCain issue and that's when Roberts closed out the segment with the above quote. I laughed. To be fair Roberts should have opened the interview saying Edward's admitted as much so let's leave it at that.

8. Especially because Edwards is not the nominee, not the VP and will not be in the cabinet, HE HAS NO |
|
STANDING! He is a high profile private citizen. Let the gossip mags have a field day, traditional press should cover this the same way they cover A-Rod, Madonna, Brangelina, etc., but not in the context of a presidential race.

6. Getting a marriage license before you are divorced from first wife might be an issue if... |
|
...you were a black guy running for President.
If you are white and a "maverick", it's not a story.

it's a decades old story. McCain married his mistress. Edwards meanwhile was carrying on with this alleged "party girl" whose past had been documented in a novel. Can't beat current sex scandal with one decades old. The MSM doesn't work that way.

Well, I guess it's different since McGrampy "admitted" to his infidelity by marrying his trustfund mistress while we are only finding out about John Edward's cheating now.
