5. I have always liked Wesley Clark... as a VP candidate and a person.

And despite the fact that he seems to fulfill a lot of the political criteria, I think it would not be viewed as a choice made for political angling (nor do I think that would be Obama's main motivation, were he to choose Clark). It would be viewed as a choice of the right person for the job at the right time.
