Poll question: If Bush sent U.S. troops into S. Ossetia, should Dems back him or not?

Ultimatum Boy seems to want to start World War III before he leaves.

Clearly Yankee intervention could only lead to nukes a-flyin'

4. Might as well ask whether we'd all like purple dinosaurs
to ride. It's just not going to happen. This isn't Iran we're talking about here. A shooting war with Russia will give even the craziest neo-cons pause.

10. I wouldn't bet on that.
I was at the gym today, and Faux was on with no sound (thankfully).

I think they wee interviewing Bill Kristol about Georgia, and he looked like he was getting a hard-on.

12. I actually think that Bush (weirdly) has been more balanced on this than McCain.
Edited on Mon Aug-11-08 11:40 PM by nsd
I don't think Bush would actually attempt to intervene, but McCain might. If McCain gets elected, the world really might be in deep trouble.

given that such an act would essentially launch World War Three.

19. The Dems need to show some fucking backbone this time.
They need to bring up the fact that the justification to go into S. Ossetia is as flimsy, if not flimsier, than the reason to go into Iraq. Yes, evidence does point to a Bush fuck up leading to the war (in both places) but that's not a fucking excuse to just resort to military force because as Iraq has proven, that's just blown up in our fucking faces.
