VERY interesting, and possibly totally irrelevant, article on Obama's VP pick
From Raw Story:
http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Obama_VP_speech_to_emphasize_security_0811.html

Basically, it lists some recent arguments that lean toward Wes Clark. I have
made some comments about Wes before, and commented as well about how he shows
up on so very many of the "pick some VP possibles" posts. Not that the Obama
campaign consults the likes of me on stuff like this, or takes DU as a barometer
of national sentiment, but he has to make the decision SOME time, and, if he
hasn't made it already, he'll have to do it soon. There are several good possible
choices, including HRC, Sibelius, Richardson, Biden, and so on, but I have always
included Wes Clark in there when many did not, and the MSM mistakenly thought they
had delivered a knockout blow with their manufactured outrage over something Wes
did NOT say about McCain on Face the Nation.

I'm not a bettin' man, but one thing I would surely NOT bet on right now is Wes
Clark being out of the running for Obama's VP nod. Obama is an intellectual activist
academic with a high IQ. I'm betting he sees in Wes Clark a kindred spirit.

1. For what it's worth
I've had the feeling for a while that the empty suit from Indiana was the front runner. Clark would be my first choice, with Richardson a close second. I really like Biden, but he has much baggage and Sibelius is just getting started running her state and making it blue. Hillary is a nogo, how about the supreme court,as we here in New York can elect another Dem. senator.

2. Yes, if Obama picks Clark, it's a slap in the face to the MSM for their fucking drama whoring.
The collective MSM seriously needs a slap in the face on a regular basis just to avoid the fucking hysteria they build themselves up into over the basis of some unconfirmed/manufactured drama. They're even worse than high schoolers.

3. Not a good main reason, but a pleasant side effect for sure
Clark is very engaging in one-on-one interviews. He'd put them straight and
make them look foolish every time they try to bring it up. They'd get tired
him putting them down or continue to look stupid.

4. The media never gets tired of looking stupid
Mainly because they're too stupid to realize that they look stupid.
