Those bastards who did that to him are sick.
One of the reasons I wanted Kerry to win so badly in 2004 was not only because he was my idol, but because Cleland needed Kerry to win and wanted him to win. Cleland was so proud and happy to have Kerry as the nominee in 2004, and it was great seeing Cleland on the trail for JK in 04'.
