Nobody has asked whether Cindy got pain pills for her sprained wrist?

Lots of reports about Cindy getting her wrist sprained while shaking hands...

Did she get pain pills for it? It seems like an obvious question to ask a former drug addict.

I guess the reporters are afraid to ask, for fear of being kicked off the bus.

2. My opinion
Her wrist is fine. She got a cast because she got tired of shaking hands with the commoners.

3. I have no idea -- but she has already had surgery on that wrist two years ago...

It's easy to get an injury on a healthy wrist, let alone one that's been injured relatively recently. I don't wish injuries on anyone, and I have no reason to believe she's faking it.

I haven't liked the baseless attacks on Michelle's patriotism, so I'm hesitant even to suggest this question -- it sounds disrespectful.

But given that she's stolen from a charity to support a drug habit in the past, I think it's legitimate to ask a prospective first lady what she is doing for pain management, both now and two years ago when she had the operation.

There's been a lot of talk about adultery lately, and Cindy herself was once "the other woman." But compared to personal lives, there's a much larger public interest in the issue of addiction, because a first lady with a weakness like that represents a potential national security hazard.

4. She's under a lot of stress. I don't think she handles it well.

Past opiate addiction; talk of adultery - she may feel the need to turn to an old friend.
