Richardson and Rockefeller also speaking Wednesday night...
Wednesday is getting crowded...

SANTA FE, N.M. -- Gov. Bill Richardson will be among the speakers at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The governor will speak on Aug. 27, the third night of the convention. The theme is "Securing America's Future."

Richardson along with Sens. Evan Bayh of Indiana, Joe Biden of Delaware and Jay Rockefeller of

West Virginia are scheduled to talk about national security.

Former President Bill Clinton will speak the same night, but the main event is an acceptance speech by Barack Obama's still-unannounced vice presidential running mate. Obama formally accepts the presidential nomination on Aug. 28, the final day of the convention.

4. Here's what Jenny Baucus says regarding the "VP Speech"...

Enough with the VP speaker tea leaves

“We reserve the right to change the schedule when we want and you shouldn’t make any assumptions,” she said. “Any person speaking on any given night could speak again as vice president.” - NY Times
