It's Not Just Corsi Who Should Be Condemned, So Should His Publisher Mary Matalin
It's business as usual for Mary M. and gutter politics doesn't begin to describe her tactics. Cheney's girl has always been on the wrong side of decency. Remember her sitting with Scooter's wife at his trial for betraying the identity of a NOC? The fundraiser held at her house for him? And I wonder if we'll ever know the truth about what role she played in stealing Ohio from Kerry. We do know that when her husband betrayed the Democratic party by telling her that Kerry was going to challenge the Ohio results, she ran to * and Cheney who then 'got Blackwell on it'. Then there's the blood on her hands from the Iraq war, from her role in helping put together the propaganda that would lie this country into war.

It's not just the Corsis of this world who must be discredited and ruined, it is also the greater evil of those like Matalin.

1. Matalin and Carville serve the same fascist agenda, and their jobs are to fool both sides into
believing they are just like them and are concerned for the working class and their values. They are scum and traitors to to this country.

5. How about blaming Simon & Schuster?
There's plenty of blame to go around, and Simon & Schuster, a huge corporate publishing congolmerate, deserves much of it. Mary Matalin didn't do this all by herself. Somebody at the highest levels of this corporation approved the release of this trash right before the election.

For example:

Promotional materials by Simon & Schuster for author Jerome Corsi's recently released book, The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality, echo Corsi's false claim that Sen. Barack Obama's Global Poverty Act of 2007 "would commit the U.S. to spending 0.7 percent of Gross Domestic Product on foreign aid." Simon & Schuster's materials falsely assert that Obama has a "radical plan to tax Americans to fund a global-poverty-reduction program."

The Simon & Schuster release also states that "(i)n this stunning and comprehensive new book, the reader will learn about ... Obama's naïve, anti-war, anti-nuclear foreign-policy, predicated on the reduction of the military, the eradication of nuclear weapons and an overconfidence in the power of his personality, as if belief in change alone could somehow transform international politics, achieve nuclear-weapons disarmament." In his book, Corsi asserts that "Obama embraces a 'no nukes,' antiwar, antimilitary posture that places him even further left than Senator George McGovern." But contrary to Corsi's characterization of Obama's views on nuclear weapons as far left, in an essay, published in the January 4, 2007, Wall Street Journal, former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and George Shultz, Hoover Institution senior fellow William J. Perry, and former Sen. Sam Nunn (D-GA) proposed nuclear weapons policies similar to those Corsi quotes Obama supporting.

6. Exactly. That a mainstream imprint is publishing the kind of thing that should be
the stuff of homemade websites, RW nutblogs like FR (where Corsi amy still be posting) and Shoddy E-Bay stores says a lot about S&S.

I used to be a book buyer for a major library system and this alarms me. but then, I know how this RW "bestsellers" get tha t way; few people actually ever read--or buy--them.

7. Fortunately The NY Times Has Finally Wised Up
They are putting an arrow by his # 1 position to signal that his is a suspicious topper, to say the least. They have finally caught on to RW big book buys.

11. Actually, they've been doing this for several years; the NYT Book review was the
first to expose the practice.

9. "Mary Matalin didn't do this all by herself." Who cares?
She should be condemned for having a hand in it.

10. The Way It Works
Matalin went to marketing and said we can sell a wagon load of these and marketing said yes. I don't know how much the 'top' knew. For them it's numbers, for her ideology. Numbers aside, they do know what kind of dreck she publishes but they don't care as long as they get sales, so yes, they are on the hot seat too. However, if there was ever a track record for harm and destruction, Matalin has it. And if the world turned upside down and there were ever criminal trials for the Iraq war, she should be in the dock too, for propaganda, along with the likes of Card, Gingrich and the more obvious suspects.

8. Corsi Frequent Guest on White Supremacist Radio
Corsi Frequent Guest on White Supremacist Radio

Can Matalin (and Carville) comment on this?

Does anyone understand why Kerry had to or Obama has to defend themselves from this scumbags' lies?

I've seen that from several sources just in the past few days.
