If you don't have a top 3, name up to 3.
My dream would be Kucinich or Boxer, but I know they won't be picked.
So, my top 3:
Clark Clinton Schweitzer
With Feingold and Biden next.

Roemer brings solid experience on intelligence and national security issues to the ticket. As a former 9/11 Commissioner, he can skewer the GOP on ts failure to take serious action after the attacks.
He's shown an ability to win in a very red state.
Being more conservative on social issues like abortion, he could attract ethnic Catholics and rural voters who might be a bit squeamish about the perceived cultural liberalism of the Democrats (of course, this would drive segments of the "base" bananas).
He's a polished speaker, not exciting, but articulate with a good television presence.

54. You show good instincts. I'm going with who I believe OBAMA will pick - Daschle or Biden, w/Roemer |
|
I believe Obama needs to TRUST his VP wholeheartedly. For those unaware of who Obama trusts I can say with 100% certainty that he trusts Daschle, Durbin and Kerry. You can be sure that Durbin and Kerry are advising and would speak positively of Daschle, Biden and Roemer.

18. Clark, Biden, Richardson. I would like some others a lot, like |
|
Schweitzer. I could also get behind Clinton with no problem, as long as Bill is on his very best behavior.
On that note, I think it is very obvious that Bill loves her very much. And because of that, he is more emotional in his responses than he would be otherwise. Completely understandable. But he would have to pull it back a bit when campaigning.

I want someone we can springboard to the Presidency in 2016. Gore, Clark, Dodd, Webb, Richardson, Reed, and Kerry would have been great, but they're too old.
Edwards would have been amazing, but the recent mistress thing would kill the ticket in the GE.
Kucinich would have been wonderful, but he's batshit insane and would get us creamed.
Mark Warner would have been my number one with a bullet, but he's iffy. During his time as Governor, he did things that make him look like a closet supporter of civil unions, even though he said he wasn't. I'd want him to come out in favor of them during his acceptance speech at the convention. If he did, that'd make a dream ticket. If not...he wouldn't be a very good choice.
