Right wing boards are 100% for McSame. DU is 50% intramural fighting |

and repetition of Big Media right-wing talking points.
One reason why McSame will be sworn in on Jan 20.
Edit: Here's a quote from a page 1 GDP post: If this guy is going to be Steny Hoyer, I'd rather not vote for him.

1. Um, you haven't lurked much at Free Republic lately have you? |
|
They call their candidate "McLettuce" and aren't particularly fond of him.

13. ooh, is that after the 50-buck-an-hour lettuce picking job offer of McCain's? |
|
My personal favorite McClueless moment. If that's what the name is based on, good for the Freepers!
(yes, I just typed those words.)

Republicans all fall in lockstep and parrot the GOPs talking points. There is not room for independent thought with that mess of people.
We, on the other hand, don't always agree in our 'discussions' which is a good thing. We don't agree with Big Media so I don't know where you got that.
When it comes time to vote, we will be united.

Right wing boards are made up of the 20% or so of fanatical Republicans who wouldn't criticize a Republican for lighting an orphanage on fire.
DU is full of passionate, but loyal Democrats who will vote for Obama in November. No way do I think either right wing sites or DU comprise most of the voting public.

8. And then blame Obama for the lack of support |
|
and concoct a thousand different excuses why it wasn't their fault for not helping to create massive enthusiasm, which is really what it takes to win an election, in the end.

The only thing keeping them in line is fear and disgust of Obama.

It happens when you assemble a group of people who actually think. On November 5 an overwhelming majority of us will fall in line. Why? Because the alternative is unthinkable.

16. The Democratic Party is much more unified than the GOP |
|
And the Democrats' forums, like this one, seem to be more strict about maintaining discipline than FR. FReepers have many different vulgar names for McCain. If anyone here came up with a similar name for Obama, he or she would likely be banned.
I think part of it is that the leaders of the right-wing internet media never particularly liked McCain. They seem to just be going through the motions.
