10 days away now folks. Is this going to happen on Monday or what? It's ridiculous that the convention is 10 days away and we still don't know who the nominee is going to be.

Don't talk to me about how this has happened before, it's ridiculous none the same.

3. Good Grief! you never would have lasted 25 years ago when the decision was made at the convention on

the most part. Gore announced in 2000 three days before the convention. The only one who I know of who announced very early was Kerry in 2004 three weeks before the convention. It's either just before the convention or at the convention when these things are made public.

Let the speculation rise to a fever pitch leading into the convention and then get a bunch of people watching to find out. On the other hand the downside is they would be compressing what would be two news events into one.
