Challenge to DUer's to come up with campaign ad ideas
I responded to an earlier post criticizing the effort on the latest campaign ad that talks about the ties between John McCain and Ralph Reed; both the original poster and I thought the effort was lame. In response, I mentioned that DUers could do a better job coming up with ideas for campaign ads and challenged those on the board to post their ideas. Since the challenge was buried in a response, I thought I'd reissue the challenge as an OP. My rough idea is below.

John McCain claims he's the most experienced candidate for President.

But John McCain's experience didn't keep him from supporting the Bush Administration's tragic and misguided invasion of Iraq (show poll showing most Americans are now opposed to war);

John McCain's experience didn't help him understand the difference between Sunni Al Qaeda and Shia Iran (show video of Lieberman having to correct McCain after major gaffe);

John McCain's experience didn't help him to realize that Iraq and Pakistan don't share a border (show video of ABC interview where that gaffe was made and a map);

And John McCain's experience doesn't seem to help him understand the central war on terror is in Afghanistan and Pakistan rather than Iraq.

What America needs, after 8 years of incompetence from the Bush Administration, isn't experience but good judgment. .

Barack Obama. Isn't it time we elected a President who can think before he acts?

1. good call!
I'll have to think a bit about the ad I would craft. It's a pretty complex art.

3. This photo of John McCain, no music, no voice over:

With the following superimposed on top: "Is it really so hard that you even have to even think about your vote, America?"

Cut to this pic:

Closing voice-over. "Don't be stupid again, America. Vote Barack Obama 2008."

*I'm only half-joking, too...*
