A Republican PUMA?
Just saw this in the comments on a Washington Post article and couldn't resist posting it here, since this guy sounds so much like some DUers.

I will not be voting for McCain unless Huckabee is his VP, I am no evangelical, I am a conservative christian. So I heard John McCain met with T. Boon Pickens this morning
and it seems that McCain will be adopting the Pickens Plan? I wonder if a vice president Pickens is in the works.

I checked Free Republic the other day and saw that several posters said they would not vote for McCain if he picked a pro-choice VP. Even though I am scared to death of Joe Lieberman or Tom Ridge as McCain's VP, maybe it would prompt some evangelicals to just stay home or even consider voting for Obama, who unlike McCain actually shares a genuine commitment to religion even if he doesn't believe the government should legislate his religious beliefs.

3. Where did you hear that he supported the Pickens plan?
That's the first I have heard of it.
