Where's McCain's article calling for the draft? |
|
One article I read -- about the NYT's refusal to run McCain's editorial -- mentioned that McCain had, I think sometime in the 80's, authored an editorial in favor of the draft to support the Cold War struggle...
Has anyone seen that? I think it would be a good thing to distribute.

1. Coincidentally, McCain's granduncle or some such relative started the draft. |
|
And McCain has said he would, too, in the event of a WWIII. And I suspect he plans on starting WWIII, if his hints at what he'd do re: Russia, his plan on staying in Iraq for another 100 years, his cute little 'Bomb Iran' song, and his explosive temper are anything to go by, so I think we can safely assume that if McCain is elected, there WILL be a draft. The man is a pathological liar, but he has given us plenty of clues as to exactly what he plans if we are unfortunate enough to end up with him as president.

2. He's supported the surge, doesn't want to withdraw from Iraq, and threatened Russia and Iran... |
|
He's also acknowledged that we're stretched too thin militarily, and made it clear in the past that he supports the draft.
It would not be unlikely to have a draft before the end of a McCain first term. That's why I'd like to see that article he wrote about it.
