Cone of Silence - the first real McCain campaign screwup
It is now clear that McCain flat out lied about being in the 'cone of silence' when asked about it at the evangelical forum - he was in fact in his motorcade.

The corporate media now has its first plain as day out in the open indisputable total flat out screw up by the McCain campaign. They have been revealed as liars and cheaters. Any guesses as to how the media will handle this?

4. no, the corporate media will go back
and "clean up" Warren's admission, saying that McCain was unavailable and not able to hear the questions ...

9. There are THREE ...
issues at hand going into this week that would KILL BO's campaign if the roles were reversed ...

1) The ginned up cross story ...
2) McCain not being properly baptized ...
3) His camp gaming the Saddleback forum and then covering up/lying about it ...

All of the CONTRIVED crape that Gore, Kerry and BO have been absolutely pilloried for ... IF they EVER actually did these three things, their campaign could be D E A D ...

Odds are ...

Yet another week of "this could be a real problem for the BO campaign" ...

2. Liars and cheaters at a religious forum. How perfect is that?
The irony kills me.

3. Well, IF he did hear the questions & Obama's responses in advance,
it didn't help him much! To me, he came off as an arrogant war monger who consistently shoots from the hip without thinking first! And his response to "How should we handle evil" question was just plain stupid! "DESTROY IT!" You CAN'T! That's every bit as stupid as Shrub stating he was going to destroy ALL TERRORISTS! You CAN'T do that either!

6. Did you notice his fervor when he said that? The guy got a buzz out of saying destroy.
Look at the tapes; it's there.

7. If You're Right
Then he was playing to the perfect audience. Arrogant and shoots from the hip is probably a good description of the majority, with a few war mongers as well!!

5. How is this the FIRST real screw up?
mixing up Sunni and Shiite all that crap that slides off his back. This is no different. Actually, it's the opposite of a screw up. They got their answers and their advantage. If the Obama campaign says anything they will be framed as whiners.

Opposite of a screw up for them.

8. 85% + will do nothing
Bush had an ear piece and was getting "help" in the 2004 debates
and they did nothing.

10. The NY Times knew it but decided not to run the story
because "it might have played an outcome in the election."
