McCain Protests NBC Coverage
"Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) campaign manager Rick Davis asked Sunday for a meeting with Steve Capus, the president of NBC News, to protest what the campaign called signs that the network is "abandoning non-partisan coverage of the presidential race."

Davis made the request Sunday in a letter that is part of an aggressive effort by McCain to counter news coverage he considers critical.

In this case, the campaign is objecting to a statement by NBC's Andrea Mitchell on "Meet the Press" questioning whether McCain might have gotten a heads-up on some of the questions that were asked of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who was the first candidate to be interviewed Saturday night by Pastor Rick Warren at a presidential forum on faith."

3. Where was Rick Davis
when the MSM was asking if Obama was a secret Muslim every chance they got.

Mitchell asked a fair question. If the McCain camp has nothing to be ashamed of then they have no need to push this.

He said people need to get a sense of humor when asked about it. :wtf:

13. If McSame doesn't strongly repudiate the book, he owns it.
They made that a "legitimate" political tactic, they better be able to deal with the consequences.

14. Well, once again, it looks like the media is giving him a pass.
Even the "in the tank for Obama" Andrea Mitchell.

7. Calling even MORE attention to it? Really bad idea, Senator--who wants to be President.
I'd call your judgment into question, but of course, you were a POW, so I can't/won't/must give you an automatic pass, etc. :eyes:

8. Well you can bet this will be today's diversionary talking point
all over the RW megaphone. Which will again stop any talk of issues.
"John McCain, former prisoner of war, claims NBC coverage skewed."

that the MSM goes after McCain's ( a former POW) plariarism the way they were on Al Gore because of Love Story during the 2000 campaign? what's the difference? just how low will McCain (a former POW) stoop?

18. No actual denial that he had access to the questions beforehand
from Davi's letter:

"The fact is that during Senator Obama's segment at Saddleback last night, Senator McCain was in a motorcade to the event and then held in a green room with no broadcast feed. In the forum, John McCain clearly demonstrated to the American people that he is prepared to be our next President....."

No broadcast feed, how about others that had that feed relaying questions?

other than that definition of what is is, what a fucking crybaby.
