Why Don't I See VP Preference Polls In The Media?
I see them plenty here. I saw plenty during the primaries, but nothing now. Does anyone here have a link?
Thanks in advance if you do.:)

1. Because when he doesn't choose Hillary...
the media wants to question his judgment. They can't do that as well if she loses lotsa VP polls.

2. They Don't Need Polls To Question Judgement
Polls have their place in presidential elections, and other elections too, but still, I can't find any VP preference polls, none.
Besides that, it would make all the speculation a little more interesting.

3. Because the polling data doesn't tell the story they want it to.
They want it to show that most Democrats want Hillary as the VP. Keep this conflict going. Fan the flames.

But the polls DON'T show that.

If it doesn't fit with the meme, it ain't getting reported.

4. I've been surprised by the same thing.
Given all the zillions of other polls out there, how hard would it have been to run polls with a top 5 or 10 choices and just ask (1) Obama or McCain (2) would _____ as VP make you more or less likely to vote for Obama. Not even everywhere, but in a few swing state.

5. Because it's too highly theoretical
and the majority of the voters out there aren't nearly as invested in who the VP is than are so many here.
