From US Veteran's Dispatch in 1992, re: John McCain and his 'contribution' to helping locate POWs/MIAs possibly remaining in Vietnam at that time. In context, Ross Perot was leading the charge to locate and recover missing pows, and he was leading in the polls ahead of George HW Bush and Bill Clinton at the time. The Repugs decided to snuff this whole issue out so it wouldn't ruin their election chances and one of the attack dogs they picked to do so, was John McCain.
