The Middle Class

Without much substance, David Axelrod was effective on ABC this morning talking about the middle class. Rich is right, if McCain doesn't start resonating there, he's going to have a very hard time winning. As lame as it is, if that kitchen-table joke Biden made yesterday is any indication, that's going to remain a theme, and people may eat it up.

1. They should be. They lose the election on that issue.
McCain's weakness as a candidate is at it's maximum there.

4. And nothing could be more true that the GOP is the party that helps
the wealthiest Americans. So it is good if that becomes the message cause under Bush we have had tax cuts for the rich, subsidies for the oil companies rich people have stock in and a war that raises the stock of certain military corporations.

So it isn't just a "line" that the GOP and McCain are elitist. It is in fact the truth for once.
