I got tired of the embarassing primary media Obama coverage Too!
Edited on Sun Aug-24-08 05:13 PM by FrenchieCat
Tired of hearing about White hard working "regular" Blue collar voters,
Hispanics who don't vote for Blacks,
West Virginia,
Kentucky,
Jesse Jackson,
Geraldine Ferraro,
Muslim talk,
Reverend Wright,
Farrakahn,
Women voters,
Whitey rumors,
He's arrogant,
Aragula,
out of touch,
elitist,
RFK,
and Bitter.

So yes, it was embarassing. Face it, Rendell is right.

1. Don't forget about
"Proud of my country-gate"

You would think they would come up with something more believable. Rendell is a POS.

4. Except Rendell made it sound like it was all Obama's fault when he's
the last one who wanted this scrutiny.

8. No... he was talking to the media people there.
He was letting them know that he felt as if their coverage of the primaries as biased in Obama's favor.

I beg to disagree.

The media favored whoever looked like they were winning. Before any votes had been cast, they crowned Hillary the inevitable nominee. They talked about that for months. Rendell must have forgotten about that.

Then when the actual voting started, and Obama won Iowa, the script was flipped and he was the golden boy. Then she won New Hampshire, and their narrative changed back to her.

Then we had to listen to crap about Rev. Wright for three weeks. That doesn't look like bias in Obama's favor to me.

When he won so many contests in February, they went back to backing the seeming winner.

Their bias was always towards whoever looked like they were gonna win. It's just that Obama is the one who looked like the winner throughout most of the primary season.

12. Obama is quickly taking over Bill Clinton's mantle,
of everything being his fault.

7. Pew Research nailed it
Yes the media is obsessed with Obama, but it is a negative obsession, He can't win for losing in the their eyes. The media is not a friend to Obama, with 78% negative coverage it is a miracle he still has a lead.

I think the Biden pick was genius because the media like Biden, they would have torn down anyone else.

9. I got tired of the media propping up Hillary for weeks after it was clear she lost.
Anyone else would have been ignored and dismissed as a bitter gadfly.

I got tired of the press talking about no one but Hillary until the quarter that Obama outraised her in campaign funds.
I was embarrassed by an entire primary of nothing but slime, trivialities, horse race coverage and impersonations of right wing radio hosts.
