People seem really really vulnerable.

12. It's a prop to call attention to |
|
the fact that McCain doesn't know how many homes he owns or what kind of car he drives. The McCain camp must be petrified about the visual message it will send so they are floating a line that the keys are to ridicule McCain's time as POW, since keys supposedly trigger a PTSD reaction in McCain. There are many "concerned" that the prop may call attention to McCain's mental illness and make the Democrats look bad.
There is absolutely nothing the Democrats will say about McCain that won't be answered with the response that McCain was a POW. rather than cowering maybe the Democrats should point out that McCain had crashed three planes before the one that went down when he was captured.

15. I was being sarcastic |

I'm actually talking about those that make the assertion that key jangling is associated with PSTD, they should be associated with key jangling.
This BS and DU'ers buying it is whats getting on my last nerves.

There are those who jump into the fray to attempt to influence things and they hammer at people creating a tense, non-collegial vibe, imo.

 :tinfoilhat:  That's awesome.
The climate here is about normal for two months before the election, IMO. I've watched this place forever, and it's always a clusterfuck of crazy in some respects right around election time. Meh. There is probably some infiltration wrt the keys nonsense, but other than that, I just think it's standard election time snark and crazy.
Just roll with it, it's entertaining. :)

yep, this is a helluva board. Did I mention how HUGE the DU message board is yet? As a matter of fact, this board's richness has concerned me so much that I donated my hard-to-come-by $$ to support it and get this, I even donated to the Obama campaign through this fully featured, robust board.
Actually, this is one of the best damned boards I've ever had the pleasure to be involved in.
Have a fabulous day!
