Remember, this horrible coverage of Barack and Joe's convention
is being shown during the daytime hours when few are watching. This is the problem with news practically 24/7, filling time slots, filling seats for the heads to talk to. I turned it off early this morning. No one is paying attention to these shills, the real coverage starts at 5 p.m. Of course one can only pray some fair and balance comes into play then.

The media is absolutely disgusting and one of the first things that must be done after they take office is to start getting some regulatory rules into the FCC. These rules should apply to cable also.

Okay, rant over..

1. Honestly...
I wonder if this treatment is the result of Barack stringing the media along regarding the VP choice. He kicked their asses, made them out to be the fools they truly are, and I can't help but think they want payback for that.

9. nope, they did exactly the same to Kerry. Wall to wall RNC operatives and their mediawhores
trashing Kerry then not a single DNC person for the GOP Convention.

11. That is true...
the only moment that received the praise it deserved, ironically, was Obama's speech.

for 8 years and nothing ever changes. THey gave us 8 years of bush and The War On Iraq and that wasn't enough..they want to give us john fucking mccain.

Obama can do what he wants in his campaign ..it's none of the corporatemedia's fucking business how he chooses to keep his VP choice a surprise. Fuck them and the corporate troughs they sleep in.

The corporate media is NOT your friend!

I encourage folks to call......even if you're not watching.

Say you are tired of the Free McCain ads being shown,
and Hillary didn't win the nomination....

tell them you want interviews with real Democrats who really support Obama.

Tell them you are switching over to C-Span!

7. You know what? I'm going to do just that. I feel cheated that
I can't even watch the activities of my own democratic convention without all of this nonsense. C-SPAN is okay but I like positive feedback and I don't think C-SPAN's commentary is interesting. I'll check it out but am going to e-mail the above. Thanks so much for the addresses....

12. Just emailed cnn
Probably will be deleted and laughed at, but it did feel good to get it off my chest. As far as fox goes, I am absolutely sure that any emails will be useless, so why waste time?

5. All day long, trying to see and hear our dems, all or mostly all
of the interviews have been with republican strategists. They like Joe but blah, blah, blah. Obama needs to do this, that, the other thing. It's really reprehensible. CNN is the same and from what I hear perhaps even worse.

17. Then you haven't been watching!
Even David Gregory is doing it right now. Showing McCain ads (at no charge)and a long interview with a McCain advisor telling why Hillary supporters should come over to McBush.

18. Watching it on C-span.
No talking heads, just a bunch of people talking. May be a little boring but don't have to scream at the television every few minutes for someone to just STFU. Not good for my image to be that crude. ;)
