What conservatives and Bush supporters are doing is spitting on our returned Vietnam Vets.

Instead of honoring their service with gratitude for their sacrifices they are spitting on these men whose only sin is to belong to the wrong party or be Republicans who support their old skipper.

Let's shame Republicans who criticize Kerry or his supoprtive boat-mates at every turn by driving home the message that they are disrespecting, slurring, dishonoring and spitting on Vietnam Vets.

And by god, they are! Stick it to 'em and make it hurt every time!

but the Navy itself, and every soldier, past and present who has been awarded a medal for honorable service in combat.

First mccain, then Cleland and now Kerry.

Someone needs to ask george why he hates veterans.

3. It's because he wasn't one.

He knows he chickened out of Vietnam, and then even dodged his draft-dodge. He knows he's a coward and a slacker, and he can't stand it that his political opponents are real heroes and he's a weenie and a pussy. That's why he hates them and tries to smear their service; ne thinks it will make him look less cowardly.

4. Yes, to get smeared, you need only be...

...a veteran with a "D" after your name, or a maverick Republican like McCain. And notice that the military service of Tom Daschle, George McGovern, and Michael Dukakis has been ignored, too.

I also can't imagine someone like the late Senator John Chafee (R-RI), a respected veteran of both WWII and Korea, conducting smears like this. You need a mean, unprincipled cuss like Cheney or Bush. Chafee had class. These guys don't.
