Tonight was the first step on the last path to the White House, Democrats.
We've came so far, but we've got to finish the rest of the way and get to the finish line.

Tonight was that first step in the final phase of our long walk to the White House.

And tonight we were reminded of our goals in these coming days:

Let's win this one for Teddy, to finish his work (our work) on key issues like healthcare.

To turn more states blue, as we were reminded by the Claire McCaskill's outfit...it was only fitting the Missouri Senator was wearing blue to symbolize, I have to believe, her want to turn her state and other traditionally Republican or Republican leaning states blue!

And finally in the last few moments of the night we saw the emotional and passionate speech by Michelle Obama followed by a very personal moment broadcast for the American people to see where Barack Obama talked to his family via satellite, and the American people saw what we all see--An American family that is smart, caring, calm, cool, and warm.

We need to push to fight for the progressive causes for Teddy. Fight for the battleground states and to turn states blue, like the one McCaskill represents. And to knock on doors, make phone calls, donate our money so the message of the Obama family can be spread to the American people and they can see why we need Barack and Michelle as the President and First Lady of these United States.

The pundits say tonight was boring. I say tonight has me fired up, and ready to go.

I can't wait for tomorrow.
