Psst, guys. The GOP is just trying to create division with all of these Hillary ads...
They're trying to stir up the Hillary vs. Obama sentiment during our convention. Don't fall for it.

If we unite, they lose. And they know it.

Have faith that Hillary will do the right thing tonight (remember the antics of some of her "supporters" and McCain's use of her words threatens her political career as well)

She is smart. And if the "I am Hillary Clinton and I do NOT approve of that message" line is any indication, McCain is in for one hell of a lashing tonight.

I, for one, am eagerly looking forward to her speech.

(P.S. Please feel free to remind me of this when I let them get to me, as I'm certain I will ;))

1. It finally got to me last night. I won't listen or read anything about that
at all today. Thanks for the reminder. :hi:

2. Voter supression is the only strategy the Republicans have.
Without it they're finished.

8. They've released an ad with Hillary's "just a speech in 2002" comments...
That's when they overplayed their hand with me and I realized exactly what they were up to.

That being said, I am still skeptical of where the loyalties of many of her advisers lie (as they now find themselves relatively powerless in our party and may have gotten *better* offers)

12. Yeah but they don't matter.
Carville and his ilk can wail and gnash their teeth all they like... it's the people that matter, not washed up glory hunters.

6. Just keep reminding yourself that
Hillary and Bill Clinton are Democrats. The GOP are stirring up shit to cause this division. Not the Clintons.

7. "If we unite, they lose. And they know it." True enough but...
... the pressure is on Hillary and her people to unite. I think the hand is out there for the taking, will they take it? I dunno.

And I'm not talking about the GOP infiltrators calling themselves PUMA's. I'm talking about the actual Democrats who are/were Hillary supporters.

9. Absolutely. And that's why Hillary is going to knock it out of the park tonight.
She knows that she needs to show she can bring her supporters home if she wants to continue climbing the Democratic ladder.

10. I saw a few interviewed last night on C-Span.
After Michelle's speech.

My impression? We have nothing to worry about. :D

16. Oh they look like kooks and they seem desparate.
The whole "Michelle Sucked last night" meme reeks of desperation.

13. Yes. I admit that I'm not perfect.
I don't want to sound preachy, when I've fallen for this shit in the past as well.

14. For the sake of unity...
...I'm going to TRY to give Hillary and Bill the benefit of the doubt through Thursday.

The ads and the PUMAs and the disgruntled but sincere Hillfans are annoying, but I'm going to try just to let it go for a couple days.

I will say this about the Clintons. They lived through all I lived through, the dreams of the sixties and the crumbling of that sense of hope that resulted from the assassinations and the subsequent nasty four decades of decline.

If they aren't moved as we are by this opportunity to restore much of that sense of hope, if they can't see beyond their own ambitions to truly join us, then I'm not going to be kind in my thoughts and actions toward them.

I believe that Hillary's got the feeling. I'm less sure about Bill. These next few days will be very telling.

We will win, we must win, and if anyone is not with us then they are against us.

:patriot:
