Something that was underscored by Rethugs in their vetting process of selecting their nominee was to point out how underenthused their party would be if McSame were chosen.
They shut their mouths once it was official, but the truth is coming to pass.
McSame isn't impressing, and during Obama's visit to Davenport, Iowa, yesterday, even the senior vote (which McSame is counting on) was stating that they were there to figure out whether they're going to vote for Obama or just stay home.
The local affiliate in Davenport, KWQC, has the quote.

This is the nightmare scenerio the GOP feared and why they counted on Hillary being on the ticket to motivate the hate vote.
With Obama against McSame, millions of people who aren't motivated to vote for Obama may simply sit this one out.
Obama is targeting Independents and Republicans now. At his rally in Davenport his campaign specifically made the crowd up of undecided voters who were registered GOP or not registered at all.
