I guess they couldn't find another "youth correspondent" other than Luke Russert? |
|
somebody with a little more experience?
I know his dad just died, but still I don't see what his qualifications are.

1. I got mixed feeling. Luke is not corrupted by these assholes yet, if you saw is recent report |
|
he just explained simply and effectively why the young people of today don't see a Obama has president as a big deal. On the other hand there are a lot of bright young men and women of colors and shades out there that will never ever get the chance that Luke has gotten simply because who there parent was.

I don't have a problem with it as long as the person GETS IN LINE - clearly that is not the case here

3. No two ways about it, Luke Russert's just bad. Maybe he needs more experience, |
|
but he's clearly out of his his element now.

I nearly fell off my chair when, responding to a question by KO, Luke said |
|
that youth voters could stomach it (supporting a black president) more than most older voters.
Stomach it? Most older voters?
He cracked me up!

9. I think that's the truth, stomach or no stomach.... |
|
Basically he's saying that more under 35 voters would have no problems with voting for an african american candidate. I think that's true.

|
"stomach" having a black president. Most older voters? Not the older voters I know.

11. I own a shipping store in a very Republican reitrement area.... |
|
I've met LOTS of them. Thankfully I've also met plenty who said they like Obama too. But some of the things that come out of their mouths I would never hear come from people closer to my age.

17. No, he wasn't. He was referring to most older voters. It was his last |
|
or next to last sentence.
