11. They are going to cry anyway.

No matter what happens, the next two months are going to be traumatic for those two. Because their parents are going to be dragged through the most vicious smear campaign imaginable. And there's not a d*mned thing we can do to protect them from it.

They're going to have to skip over Politics 101 and witness the accelerated graduate course.

But one thing I firmly believe - if it happens, and we lose, Michelle and Barack Obama are going to be the rocks in those girls lives who help them get through it. IF he doesn't win, he's still the ONLY black senator in our nation, and he's bound to get more terms. Eventually, if he stays in the Senate, he will have a legacy of power and clout that others will envy.

I want that man for president with every fiber of my being. But I know that those two girls will have two very, very strong, loving parents to surround them with the care they need to grow through it.
