2. According to the MSNBC ticker
The Obama campaign has seen her speech and are "very pleased" with it. So I can't imagine that it's not on topic.

36. Let's keep in mind
What Obama really needs and wants HRC right now is for her to push her supporters to his side. That's 18 million votes that can't hurt come November. There's plenty of time between now and then to bash McPOW. HRC needs to use tonight to help heal this much touted "fracture" within the party. If she's able to unify hers and his, then she'll have done her job tonight.

I'm on C-Span, too, and I agree the speeches have been sharp tonight. Meantime, every time I check to see what the cable news channels are doing, they're yammering about nothing.

8. How can Axelrod be HAPPY with that speech, then?
Keith said that Axelrod wasn't worried about
the lack of attacks on BombBomb and when asked
about that, he just laughed and said, "You

33. What?
I'm just saying that if they *were* to be dissatisfied they couldn't say so, so simply stating that the Obama campaign says they're happy isn't proof of anything.

I think it'll be a fine, unifying speech. I hope she attacks McCain, and I'll be a little let down if she doesn't, but I don't think she's going to hurt Obama at all. I'm not "one of them".

37. Fineman knows nothing. He is constantly wrong about these things.
Her former press secretary said that she would attack Mccain, but it would be a statesman like tone instead of an angry tone, like "I'm friends with him, but we disagree..." I think that Biden, as a friend of McCain's, have struck the right chord with how to do this approach correctly.

ALWAYS has been, ALWAYS will be x( and anyway it's what goes on behind the scenes that matter. The Clinton's can fall all over themselves supporting Obama in their speeches but what they do beyond that is what matters. Bill is the one I worry about most, he can't control his mouth or his bitterness.

NEVER, EVER let the mainstream media bait you into attacking a fellow Democrat ever again. Too often, we take the bait, fall into the trap, and waste energy fighting amongst ourselves, tearing each other down.

Thank you, Hillary!
Now, let's go turn that map deep blue! Let's send McCain home with his tail tucked twixt his legs! :bounce:
