33. Okay, that makes sense then. It just didn't resonate with me |
|
Maybe I'm spoiled with the formidable oratory talents of Obama and Biden, but nobody tonight has hit a homerun so far.
Plus I'm concerned we're not hard-hitting enough. The amount of time we have to reach viewers is so short that we need to use each minute to its fullest advantage. We need to hammer McLame and not let up!
Overall I'm disappointed with the caliber of the speakers and the content of their remarks. Next week we're going to WISH we had hit harder when it was our turn but it'll be too late. :(

A more charismatic speaker really could have made that thunder.
I like Warner a ton but no one will ever confuse him for Mr. Excitement.

I supported Warner for president before he decided not to run. This is one of the best speeches I've seen him deliver, much better than I expected. He got better as it went along.
Too bad he didn't save that "best resource" line until later in the speech when he had hit a stride.

He said he was not going to slam McCain, but he would point out the differences. He did it well, and delivered some subtle slams in there as well.

In my opinion, not as good as Schweitzer's, but it really was a good speech. Much better then what I was expecting (more pointed, in that regard.)
