Was anyone else impressed with Casey's speech?
I never thought of him as a good speaker, but I really liked what he had to say tonight. I loved how he used his views on abortion to paint Obama in a positive light...of course, some of the PUMA's will probably see that as a dig at Bill Clinton, but oh well. And I loved when everyone started chanting "four more months!"

3. Yay, he was excellent.
I was also surprised, because he doesn't have a reputation as a much of a speaker, but he really hit it out of the park tonight.

4. He did great considering he was a big Hillary supporter
It was a great speech and very supportive of Barack. That isn't intended to be a Hillary slam at all, just a thumbs up to Casey.

13. Dude spent 4 or 5 days on buses and trains with BO ...
he put his rear end on the line for BO in the primary. I mean, he busted his tail for him - he has four daughters and came out early for BO saying that his daughters lit a fire under him for BO.

14. Are you confusing him with Rendell? Casey supported Obama in the primary.
He gave Obama a surprise endorsement in late March...it was pretty courageous for a first-term senator from a state that Clinton was likely to win and where the party establishment was solidly behind her and other Democrats like Patrick Murphy had been shunned for endorsing Obama.
