Write to MSNBC to complain about coverage. |
|
letters@msnbc.com is the only e-mail address I could find on their contact page. This is the e-mail I just sent them:
I would like to complain about the coverage of the DNC. Namely, Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer gave one of the most rousing, important speeches of Tuesday night and MSNBC was the ONLY network not to show any of it.
Schweitzer was talking about important energy issues and had the undivided attention of a crowd on its feet. Instead of cutting to this showstopping moment, we were treated to more "previews" of Clinton's speech by the network's endless array of analysts.
I've never wanted Matthews and Olbermann to shut up more than tonight. I hope your network will be equally rude to the Republican speakers next week.
Thank you,
Kris Olson Lexington, KY

1. If they don't do what they did to the RNC convention, |
|
All hell needs to break loose. Should have broken loose long ago, but we tend to act like abused spouses.....and keep coming back for more.

They may tend to take it less seriously if they receive multiple e-mails in a template format. Not that I expect them to consider my e-mail seriously anyway.
Do what you wish. Perhaps you can urge them in your e-mail to broadcast Schweitzer's speech in its entirety sometime today. Throw in a word for Kucinich's snubbed moment, as well.

4. Turn to PBS, and don't worry about it ... |
|
(CSPAN would be okay too)
By all means, write the letters.
And then support a network that isn't entirely built on infotainment talking heads after they've been sent.

In preparation for the 2010 Equestrian Games, a company called Centrepointe got a deal to tear down many of the buildings on that block, including Mia's, The Dame, and Buster's Bar to make way for another high-rise hotel. There was a big ordeal about tearing down these historic buildings. The Herald-Leader covered it extensively, so you can find stories at Kentucky.com
I know some Berea folks... I'm a junior music major at Transy...
