What do others really know about McCain?

There is something percolating under the surface now and it is the question of McCain's mental acuity.

Last night Chris Matthews said that asking someone how many houses they have is the type of question you ask someone suspected of being in the early stages of alzheimer's disease.

There are little remarks surfacing, like Leahy comparing McCain to the last years of Reagen's presidency, although claiming it was about "a free ride".

I am seriously wondering if people in Washington, both other Senators as well as those in the media, are privy to information about McCain's memory and mental state that has been covered up and kept from the public.
