did anyone catch this last night?
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 01:22 PM by BklynChick
When they were playing Hillary's video and they had a shot of Bill talking about her, the words identifying him on the screen said, "Hillary's husband." That just struck me as hilarious. My husband and I were  I mean, what else could it have said, but jeez that was funny.

2. What channel was that?
I've only been watching C-SPAN, to avoid the right wing spin and interruptions, but if they said "Hillary's Husband" I guess I missed it.

4. I also caught that she called herself a proud mother, a proud supporter of women's rights,
a proud Democrat, a proud supporter of Obama, but not a proud WIFE. I found that odd.

5. I don't at all. she's relaying her speaking qualifications. Motherhood takes tremendous
management skills (don't I know it), supporting a cause takes tremendous resolve, and being a Democrat and a proud supporter of Obama are the minimum qualifications.

And he loves her, no question about it!

10. Being a proud Dem. takes no more work than being a proud wife
I'd think she could've mentioned it.

15. When I apply for a job, I don't point out wife. My opinion is that it's nitpicking.
Your mileage may vary, but that's fine. That's why we are here.

20. Neither do you probably point out you're a Dem.

It's just an observation that she listed so many things she's proud of and "wife" wasn't on the list.

17. You can see it in Michelle's eyes that they are in love and how
proud she is of her husband :-). I'm glad the MSM hasn't made an issue out of that part of Hillary's speech - well I haven't watched TV much today, so maybe they have .

21. You and the others are being ridiculous.
So she left the proud wife part out. I guess that makes you feel good that she didn't point out that she is proud to be the wife of Bill Clinton. :eyes:
