Developments on the roll call:
Clinton delegates gathering petition signatures demanding 50-state roll call tonight at Pepsi Denver

Hillary Clinton delegates are gathering petition signatures urging the Democratic National Party to include all 50 states in tonight’s roll call vote to declare Barack Obama the presidential nominee at the Pepsi Center.

The concern is that party leaders and the Obama campaign plan to cut off the roll call after about 30 states and declare Obama the nominee by acclamation.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is expected to release her delegates to vote for challenger Barack Obama in a few minutes.

Clinton delegates packed in the Colorado Convention Center chantrf 'Hill-a-ry' in the dark before she came on stage.

The New York Senator's appearance should help answer questions on how the evening will proceed as the Democratic National Convention reconvenes at the Pepsi Center this evening.

Delegates cast ballots for the party's presidential nominee at their hotels this morning.

The vote, negotiated by the Obama and Clinton campaigns, is expected to speed proceedings tonight, when totals will be read from the floor as part of a roll call vote.

But it is also leaving many delegates perplexed.

Some delegates were confused because Sen. Clinton was not expected to release her delegates until the afternoon.

1. These are NOT democrats they are nothing more than troublemakers
who won't even recognize that their own leader told them to give it up.
