The difference between Biden and McCain - Biden doesn't use his tragedy as an excuse for anything
Perhaps I'm wrong, but to me I would equate losing the wife & daughter you love in a car accident almost to spending 5 years in a Vietnamese POW camp. Both of these are extremely tragic experiences that I would hope that very few of us ever have to live thru.

And yet everytime you attack McCain he'll pull the POW card. Just like on Leno last night when Leno asked McCain about the number of houses he (McCain) owned. Right away McCain brings up the fact that he spent 5 years in a POW camp. What does that have to do with his ability to be able to count houses.

And yet here is Joe Biden who has go thru similar tragic experience - soon after he was first elected to the US Senate, his ENTIRE family was in a car that was struck by a drunk truck driver. His boys pulled thru but he lost his wife and 14mo old daughter. How many times do you see Joe use that tragedy as his excuse - NEVER. Hell he rarely talks about it (I was surprised when Obama mentioned it in Springfield because Joe would have never brought it up just like he rarely mentions his youngest son is about to be shipped off to Iraq).

I don't want to take light either of these situations because I don't know if I could survive a POW camp or losing 2 people I truly love in a senseless drunk driving accident. But kudos to Joe for not using this tragic story as an excuse for anything that doesn't go that way. He knows he is here to serve people and making excuses won't get the job done.

6. Biden
I know he was the best choice for VP, he is a true human, went thru an experience that no one should ever go thru in their lifetime, but he is strong, and that is what we need in a VP.....

I cant wait for Kentucky Senator McConnell to lose his re-election, so I can dance on LynneSins Porch

Parche on porch

I'm gonna put a big sign that says "JOE STOOD HERE" and a little fence around that spot so people don't stand there.

8. IMO, losing even one loved one is worse than five years in hell. And losing a child, worse than
a lifetime hell.
