when someone like, say Ann Curry or Wolf Blitzer is interviewin a Democrat who says something like, "Obama's up 5 points in the such and such poll and we're gonna win this state, the reporter, if you want to call him or her that, switches to something negative about the candidate, such as: what do you say to the new charges that Obama's birth certificate may not be legitimate?
However, when they're interviewing a Rethug who says something like: John Kerry's demonstrated that he not only threw medals back, but that he may have fragged his own men in Vietnam, the 'reporter' will nod his or her head and say that they are awaiting further developments in this 'important story' and thank the rethug profusely for his participation in the interview.
