Hillary's speech even better IMO. Thought at least one of the two speeches should mention that. :hi:

By god, this guy isjust the best. He did a great job and underscored support for Barack Obama. It was great.
Let's give credit where credit is due.

give the reasons why Obama was the best person for the job. I felt that she only gave him one third of her pie and kept two thirds for herself. But now I feel much better seeing how Bubba's speech is basically part two of what she was saying last night. So together I think they did all that needed to be done to get behind our nominee.

I had forgotten how much sophisticated info Bill could give to his listener in a way that could be easily understood.

Brutal dissection of Republican tactics and hypocrisy in simple to understand language with isolated numerical specifics.

lots of "red meat," and he actually praised Obama more than Hillary did.

16. Ditto, but Bill said the most important thing of all... |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 08:50 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
He said there is something fundamentally WRONG with the Republican Party and that Bush's reign is the product of wide-spread ideology, not the failing of one moron.
Missing that is the gravest mistake of the campaign.
Few people subscribe entirely to either party's platform but that doesn't mean ordinary voters are without passion.
There are people outraged about Iraq who will vote for McCain. (Just are there are people who consider abortion genocide who will vote for Barack.)
Almost everyone in America has something they are genuinely outraged about that is attributable to the Republicans. Issues do matter, and when the opposing party is generally hated you have to run against them as an institution and ideology.
