MSNBC: New McCain Ad Tonight |
|
McCain spokesperson on Morning Joe just said that McCain is going to release an ad tonight in battleground states at about the same time Obama is speaking.
Said it's a 'new kind' of ad, where McCain will speak directly to the camera and address his comments to Obama.
I'm guessing it's going to be McCain saying something decent about the historical aspects of this convention. Then again, he might smear and lie - but I don't think he will.
Anyway, the McCain person said the ad would be 'newsworthy'.

McCain can't do anything to get the spotlight at this point. I've heard rumours that he will leak the name of his veep to the press today to try to steal thunder from Obama. LOL! Tonight is Barack's night, McCain can't stop it

5. All McCain ads are considered "newsworthy" by the MSM |
|
How else would they explain playing the damn things 8 times an hour for free?
They are disgraceful.

19. Yeah, I wrote Brian Williams a letter when he led with a McSame ad. |
|
He actually decided there was nothing more important to start off his newscast than the latest McCain ad.
I guess the MSM figure they owe Gramps free ad time, since he can't possible raise as much contributions as Obama does.

7. Only in the battle ground states? |

What happened? In the old days the RNC would have paid for a national ad, not just targeted markets to try to shore up their base.

16. Is there a way Obama can corner the market on TV time in late October? |
|
Buy up all the TV time and monopolize the airwaves with nothing but Obama ads? McCain will be up against spending limits.
Nice avatar, BTW. Billy Beane has some rebuilding to do this winter.
