No Barack Obama TV Commercials
Anyone notice there have been almost ZERO BO commercials anywhere this week?

Of course he has been nearly front page everyday, the talk of every talk show, the lead on every online site and the lead on most news channels and cable news.

I hope during the Repuke conventionb next week the BO unleashes a barrage of commercial spots that dwarf what McCain ran this week.

1. agreed
I have sen far too much of McCain's mug this week. It's as if he had NOTHING TO DO with making us worse off over the past four (or eight) years! I want to hear someone explain that!

24. That is not technically true
(Gore + NH) with CO and either NV or NM would give us the win.

Also depending on the makeup of the next Congress a 269 outcome could also break in our favor, i.e. (Gore + NH) + NM & NV

4. Conventions are just a giant commercial now anyway
Cenk of the Young Turks was saying CNN has 400 people at the Dem Convention. You don't need commercials when that much press is there covering it.

BO has tons of cash and he is going to be able to use it before the election to fight off the smears.

What state are you in.

I think the national spots were pulled in favor of local markets.

But maybe they're on the 3 major networks - I have only watched 3 channels all week - CNN, MSNBC & CSPAN. I'll bet that's where they're playing, on the local stations. Then again, we're so blue up here...

16. All the ones I've seen were on MSNBC.
I'm in Cincinnati.

One day this week, I saw the Obama response ad to the Ayers smear three time in the same hour.

I've seen the ad that shows McCain in the golf cart twice yesterday.

National Ads that reach his base aren't as effective as Targeted ads that reach undecideds.

23. I see a few in Chicago
Where nobody will come in this campaign :( Obama will win Illinois in a walk.

Still I see one every now and again, a little less than McCain, but not by much. But then I don't watch much TV so I'm the wrong person to ask.

then why blow the money on campaign ads?

35. Admittedly I am in Canada but I am watching American cable. I see
a few more McCain ads than I do Obama ones. I hope that changes. Doesn't Obama have more $$$ than McCain? Shouldn't that translate into more ads? But then again perhaps they want to concentrate on those flip states where the race is very tight.
