Even though a lot of people his age- he's what? 80? - have Alzheimer's disease, and it would certainly be nothing to be ashamed of if John McCain has Alzheimer's disease, but John McCain? John McCain has Alzheimer's disease? He does not, as far as I know.

We had a thread on this "Alzheimers thing" early this morning. I suggested a new ad (for MoveOn.org, maybe), "John McCain: The White House...or the Nursing Home? You decide!" Then we wondered if he'd actually need seven nursing homes as well. (Thank you, thank you.)

Actually the thread was about McCain's "hothead tendencies," and why we need to make that more common knowledge...and ask everybody who you'd want answering that phone at 3 am...McCain the ticking time bomb or a cool and collected Obama.
