3. Probably could have filled it 3 or 4 times over if we wanted
There's really no contest between us and the GOPers.

11. My guess is he could have filled it 100 times over, literally.
That would be 7.6 million, I'll bet that many would have showed up if there was a stadium large enough and enough tickets.

5. I am so proud to be an American.
I get prouder and prouder as the year goes by.

This is the first year in the past 8 years that I have so felt to be a part of the America that is gonna kick ass and take names and defeat McCain.

Ray Rivera, my new crush. Sigh ...

6. Meanwhile David Fucking Gregory is going on and on about this convention
has failed to show that Barack can connect to the common man. What a moron.

8. From my own perspective
It never crossed my mind that he wouldn't. I was amazed regarding the worrying about rain, people would stand in the rain was my thought. Then all of the threads of amazement today. To me it was just a given.

If finally hit me that it is amazing. But there are a lot of people like me that just assumed it would happen.

So something truly remarkable that makes us a better Country just becomes an assumption. That is a sign of a great leader. Remarkable events become the norm.

Or we can go shopping, or challenge workers to spend a day picking lettuce in Yuma, sarcastically questioning their resolve.

GoBama.
