3. Probably could have filled it 3 or 4 times over if we wanted |
|
There's really no contest between us and the GOPers.

11. My guess is he could have filled it 100 times over, literally. |
|
That would be 7.6 million, I'll bet that many would have showed up if there was a stadium large enough and enough tickets.

5. I am so proud to be an American. |
|
I get prouder and prouder as the year goes by.
This is the first year in the past 8 years that I have so felt to be a part of the America that is gonna kick ass and take names and defeat McCain.
Ray Rivera, my new crush. Sigh ...

8. From my own perspective |
|
It never crossed my mind that he wouldn't. I was amazed regarding the worrying about rain, people would stand in the rain was my thought. Then all of the threads of amazement today. To me it was just a given.
If finally hit me that it is amazing. But there are a lot of people like me that just assumed it would happen.
So something truly remarkable that makes us a better Country just becomes an assumption. That is a sign of a great leader. Remarkable events become the norm.
Or we can go shopping, or challenge workers to spend a day picking lettuce in Yuma, sarcastically questioning their resolve.
GoBama.
