I think the real problem for Repubs is this (ranty)
Edited on Thu Aug-28-08 11:06 PM by Juan_de_la_Dem
After watching the historic speech tonight (that was unbelievable IMO)and watching 2 minutes of Faux analysis(to my disgust) I think I've got it.

Conservatives have fucked up so badly, that even they know it and can't do anything to fix it other than to try to save face. They are angry and nervous as hell over the fact that the entire world wants the their party out of office and the only answer they have is a 72 y.o. douche bag that thinks Putin is president of Germany or "Czechoslovakia"; and that they hate even to this day.

Some say that we support Obama because of our emotions. What emotions are those? Are they the emotion to get these fucks out of office and in jail? Are they the emotions to save our homes? Are they the emotions of working two jobs and still having trouble paying our bills? Is it our emotions of losing our jobs and not being able to afford gas to drive to look for new ones? Are they the emotions to bring home our family members(my B-in-law is in Iraq)who are fighting to stay alive because of a war that they were lied/misled into? Is it our emotions regarding our rights to privacy, our rights to free speech, our rights to Hab Corp? Is it our emotions over what the foreseeabley(SP?) bleak future holds for us? Well you bet it is, at least for those paying attention.

But we don't corner the market on emotions. The most emotional are those not voting FOR McCain, but those voting AGAINST Obama. That emotion jealousy. They are jealous that they cannot field a candidate that is worth a shit in a pig poke. So they deflect their anger at themselves for letting it happen and project it as hate toward anyone who points out the ill of their ways. In other words for no reason at all other than shameless, egocentric poor sportsmanship. Well I've got some big fuckin' news for them. Regardless of who wins the Presidential election they are fucked. The House and the Senate both are lost. So "Hold your nose and vote for McCain" all your haters, cause things are going to change regardless.

Go Obama, we all put our country first and we are not willing to take a 10% chance on change (phase in country music, then phase to presidential overture)

3. That's certainly why they hated Bill Clinton
Clinton usurped Reagan's hallowed place on a pedestal for a generation.

Tonight, Obama looked and sounded more presidential than John McSame. Quite honestly, he has Jack Kennedy's delivery and Ronald Reagan's poise.
