He spoke quickly because of the time allotted but wow, he landed on the mark in all ways. It was good to see him, I hope more of that when Barack takes office.

1. I was impressed because
it didn't look like he was reading at all. Almost as though he had it memorized.

I can see him being appointed to some new Global Warming dept.

4. Are they gonna call him fat and full of hot air now? The guy looked great.
And sounded great too. Very humble as well. He IS the Dem party elder statesman.

Just love him. I am repeating myself from an earlier thread, but I love him. He is fantastic. I didn't even know he was going to speak! What a treat!

14. Just as I was thinking "if only 8 yrs ago he'd won..."
Mark Shields on PBS made the forceful observation that he DID WIN 8 yrs ago, and it was the Supreme Court that handed it over to the idiot in the white house now.

This was a great speech. He seemed so on fire with his concerns. I can't help thinking that not getting in to the office gave him the power of having "nothing left to loose." We are fortunate to have someone who speaks with such clarity and conviction, though I wish he hadn't needed to endure such loss to get there.
