I have never seen Joe Biden happier... |
|
I'm happy for him. He's paid his dues, worked hard and made himself into a wonderful statesmen. He deserves a national stage. It's fantastic to see him in this element.

22. I think knowing he'll have a legacy |
|
as part of this ticket, it's probably better than being president himself. If Obama wins, Joe Biden will be remembered forever as the vice president of the first black president. Wow.

I think they make a good match - BO is SO, SO, SO disciplined, Biden has both a statemenlike quality AND that "blue collar" and off the cuff quality ...

It's like apart, you wouldn't know how good they would be together, but now, when you see them up on stage etc. It's magic. I can feel it.

7. my first time seeing the personal side of Biden |
|
I've only watched him in speeches and senate hearings, where he was very professional and sharp. First time I'm seeing the personal side of him, and I REALLY LIKE HIM.

But Biden is a guy who keeps it real, as the kids say. :) He's not a millionaire, he's a true public servant.

26. I feel priveleged to see this |
|
I really do. I always felt like I missed out on something, not being around in the era of an FDR or JFK. Now I get to live history myself. We might actually have a black man for president. And after 8 years of hell too. It's all surreal. And to see Joe Biden right in the mix of it. It's just great stuff. You couldn't write a script this good.
