A shout-out to CSPAN coverage.

I've never watched a convention on CSPAN before this one. And I've never come away more . . . connected to what was going on. I got to see all the speakers, all the videos, all the music, the crowd shots that actually ADDED to the experience rather than detracting. It was truly remarkable and I am now hooked. Thanks to everyone for recommending that broadcast.

I watched the 2004 convention on CSPAN as well and they showed everything then too, while the networks cut in and out.

4. I love C-Span too...

If it weren't for C-Span, I wouldn't know who Joe Biden was. He's not a media darling - goes straight home after work - no time for interviews...Joe is on C-Span when they have special hearings and he is super good when his turn comes up to question...
