DNC Convention was like Ravel's Bolero |
|
Bolero is an interesting piece because it pretty much takes the same music ditty and reinvents it over and over again. So what starts off as this soft & pretty song builds and builds and build until you have this massive musical piece roaring at the very end of the piece.
To me that's what the convention came out like. We didn't have to come roaring out of the gates to be successful but start soft with interesting composition to start the piece. And each day we added a bit more to that piece to make it stronger, growing & building and finally when we hit the 4th day and Obama spoke we were at the loudest part of the crescendo with full orchestration majestically playing the piece proudly.
That was our convention and it was orchestrated beautifully.

2. Ravel's Bolero, the piece that actually got me interested in Classical Music |
|
Oh wait maybe that was because of Bo Derek. Oh well, it did lead me to music appreciation of something other than the Classic Rock.
