11. Its the nature of any forum

Posts which are met with general agreement drop off the page like a stone for the simple reason that few people feel like dittoing all the time. Thus it is only posts that raise emotions that are going to garner replies. And particularly combative subjects are going to garner even more replies as disagreements and fights break out.

A forum of this nature lives and breaths on disagreement. The most frequent and practiced posters in the forum are going to be those who have an opinion on everything and like to argue about it. And the arguments are going to trend towards emotional over time.
